Covid-19 Worship Guidelines 
Anyone who answers yes to any of the following questions should not attend services:
  • Have a temperature of 100.4 or higher in the last two weeks?
  • Have you lost your sense of taste or smell in the last two weeks?
  • Have you or someone in your household tested positive for COVID-19?
  • Have you come in contact with anyone who tested positive for COVID-19?

For those who are considering returning to corporate worship together at the church, there are several health and safety measures we are administering to ensure full compliance with all current guidelines issued by the bishop and government authorities. They include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • cleaned and disinfected surfaces, pews, bathrooms, etc. before each service;
  • attendees limited to maximum of 25 percent of the facility‚Äôs authorized full capacity; (which for Christ Church is 75 people given our capacity of 300)
  • social distancing outside the church before entering;
  • hand sanitizer will be applied when entering the church;
  • wearing masks AT ALL TIMES while inside the church;
  • pews marked off to ensure social distancing; if not from same household please maintain six feet from each other.
  • use of detailed service bulletins instead of shared hymnals, bibles and prayer books;
  • no hand shaking or hugging during the peace or throughout the service (including after service when the priests are in the back of the church).
  • ushers releasing individuals pew by pew to enter the isle for communion;
  • receiving communion at the head of the center isle while standing and maintaining social distancing;
  • communion will be received by the officiant placing a wafer in your hand without making contact and no wine will be consumed; and, collection plates located in the back of the church for people to drop on the way in or out (or consider giving online at
